Justice Innovation Lab (JIL) is a national organization that builds data-informed and community-rooted solutions for a more equitable, effective, and fair justice system. JIL’s team is composed of data scientists, visualizers, human-centered design experts, prosecutors, policymakers, storytellers, and community advocates—passionate and collaborative leaders, who bring a broad span of perspectives to this work and treat each other as whole people.

Program Manager
The Program Manager will serve as a strategic and operational manager to drive the successful execution of JIL’s work. They will engage with colleagues and partners to facilitate communication and connection across teams, functions, and projects to ensure priorities and milestones are coordinated, aligned, and tracked. They will ensure project status is regularly and proactively communicated to senior leadership.
They will serve as the strategic coordinator for JIL programs by leading logistics, planning, facilitation, and follow up and are responsible for driving forward priorities established by leadership through effective project management. They will be responsible for influencing and managing staff at various levels of seniority to ensure that input is gathered, decisions are made, and work moves forward in line with set plans and deadlines. A key skill is to proactively and creatively problem-solve each and every day, requiring self-initiative and an ability to recognize unspoken needs.
